The National Museum Јournal (ISSN 0350-7262) is a periodical publication of the National Museum in Čačak, initiated in 1969. Its multi-decade continuity in publication and the quality of the works it has published have established the reputation of this journal as one of the oldest museum periodicals in Serbia. The journal contributes to the study of the past and the cultural-historical heritage of Čačak, the Moravica District, Western Serbia, and Western Pomoravlje, as well as the cultural-historical connections of these areas with the entire territory of Serbia, the Balkans, the Mediterranean, and Europe. The anthology is published annually, edited according to international standards for periodical publications and by the Editorial Board for History, Archaeology, Ethnology, and Art History at the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia. It is categorized as a prominent national journal – M52.
